We invite you to a two-day symposium, October 13-14, that will gather leading minds from across the scientific community. The symposium will honor Dr. Venter’s lifetime of historic achievements in human genomics, synthetic biology, and environmental genomics and will explore the future of genomic science. Speakers will include those who worked alongside Dr. Venter over the past four decades and from the broader scientific community. A schedule of speakers will be shared in the coming weeks.

You are also invited to a gala following the symposium the night of October 14, which would have been Dr. Venter's 80th birthday.

Full refunds are available for cancellation requests received on or before August 14, 2026 (60 days prior to the event). Cancellation requests received between August 15 and September 12, 2026, will be refunded at 50% of the registration fee, less any applicable transaction fees. No refunds will be issued after September 12, 2026 (within 30 days of the event). All refund requests must be submitted by email to [email protected].
